How to engage your audience and turn followers into customers

I am a huge advocate for Social Media and using it as your number one marketing tool.
Although there is a lot to be said for followers. I agree a huge following can look appealing but unless you are an influencer getting paid to post ads there is no financial gain in having 20k followers. I’d rather have 400 followers that are all paying clients than 20k followers and 10 clients. It’s not that straight forward and everyone that follows you isn’t necessarily going to book in with you for the services you offer. But they follow you right? So, they must be interested in you for some reason.
Tip number one is figure out that reason!
A percentage of your followers will follow you because they already use your services . Others will follow you because they like how you look, or your personality and some will follow you because they are tempted to book with you, but haven’t quite taken the plunge yet. The last section the ones that follow you because they want to book but haven’t yet… they are the ones we want to captivate. We still want to engage with our loyal client base who follow us because they visit us monthly or quarterly! We love them, they are the backbone to our successful businesses, but we want to grow, we want more.
Studies show that people will follow you on social media for 9-12 months before they book an appointment. Studies also show that you need to engage or prompt someone 3 times before they will book. So why aren’t we doing this ? That girl that has followed you for a few months, likes all your posts but she isn’t a customer, you’ve never met her.

Message her !
Engage with her get her to trust you.
You don’t need to make it personal send her a promotional offer, or a generic sales message that you may send to your regular clients. Open that path of communication and bag those clients. Turn those non-paying followers into paying clients. Consistency, engagement, and personality goes far in this industry. Use yours and watch your business grow.
